From take so ehm today
to Reel.

Stella is a Mac app that turns what you record into finished Reels and TikToks: it plans the video with you, cuts the pauses and the “ehm”, captions every word and builds the edit in CapCut.

First, the idea.

Tell Stella what you want to say. It writes the hook and the script with you, then plans every shot.

Then you record.

On your Mac or your iPhone. Scan a code and each take lands on its block of the plan.

Stella edits.

Best take kept, pauses and filler cut, camera on whoever is speaking, every caption lit word by word.

You post it.

The edit opens in CapCut with every cut still yours to change. Add the cover and the caption, and it's out.

Type it the way you’d say it.

Or try

In the app it works on your recording itself: cuts land on the end of each word, and you choose how much it cuts.

Less editing, more posting.

A plan before you shoot

Idea, hook and script first, then the shot list: what to say, what to show, how long each part runs. Written with you, in your voice.

A hand-drawn storyboard: rows of numbered frames sketched in pencil on paper.

The cuts you’d make by hand

Long pauses, filler words, false starts and retakes go. Each cut lands on the end of a word, so nothing sounds clipped, and you choose how much it cuts.

One podcast, a dozen videos

Upload a long recording, even from several cameras. Stella finds each topic, keeps the best take and makes each one its own project. In our tests, a 72-minute session became 12 videos.

It learns how you talk

Connect Instagram and Stella listens to your videos and reads how they did, then writes for your audience in your own voice.

Ideas from today’s news

Every morning, a few video ideas from the news in your niches, each with its hook and its sources. One click starts the project.

Questions

Who is Stella for?

Creators who talk to camera: tips, explainers, stories, podcasts and interviews. If you record yourself and lose hours in the edit, it's for you.

Do I need a Mac?

Yes, a Mac with Apple Silicon for now. You can record on your iPhone: the takes reach Stella over Wi-Fi.

Do I need CapCut?

Yes, the free CapCut desktop app. Stella builds the edit there, so you can always change it by hand.

Which languages does it speak?

The app is in English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German, and it captions your videos in the language you speak.

What happens to my videos?

They stay on your Mac, and Stella transcribes them there. The AI assistant works on the text and a few still frames.

How much will it cost?

We haven't set prices yet. People on the waitlist hear first, before anyone else.

When can I try it?

We're letting creators in a few at a time. Join the waitlist and tell us what you make.

And, if you like, so we know you a little:

I'm on Instagram and on TikTok.
